Teachers feedback :
- Handout has questions/ gaps which is a really nice idea that immediately encourages engagement.
- Good to see some conversation between students discussing the questions. Also good to put the answers up clearly straight away in case anyone was wrong.
-Two hugely important brands (HBO & WB)
-History and breadth of institution is covered well. 'US version of virgin media' is a great way to describe it.
-Presentation lacks depth after starting so well and you should always try to avoid reading text off of the slide to your audience.
-It would have been nice to have a plenary or little activity at the end to finish the lesson off.
WWW- I think our starter activity with the hand outs was a good idea , it helped everyone engage with other and get thinking. We mentioned some important key facts about particular brands etc. and we made sure all of the information we didn't cover in the presentation was on the handouts.
EBI- I think our presentation could have been a little longer our had more depth. We added some important information however , we didn't have any simple or interesting key facts. It would have been a better presentation if we didn't read off of our sheets or the power point on the board and lastly we should ended it with an interesting activity to link back to what we presented to the class in the beginning.
